It’s Time to Turn Down the Volume

A little over a year ago, this blog went live and from the very beginning, the response was overwhelming.  The number of people reading and sharing this blog was completely unexpected.  In addition, the number of people who responded with evidence and information about the case was unprecedented.

To be perfectly clear, this blog has not in any way presented all the evidence developed by Jackie Bates and other officers regarding who is likely responsible for the deaths of Colt Haynes and Molly Miller.  Only a small portion of the evidence collected has been presented.  Further, since this blog went live, additional witnesses have come forward, and more evidence has been developed.  None of that has been discussed in the blog.

At this point, all this evidence and information has been turned over to law enforcement, and it is being thoroughly investigated.

Law enforcement can be trusted to conduct that investigation with professionalism and integrity, and they have the ability to find Colt and Molly and bring the person responsible for their deaths to justice.

Law enforcement isn’t inherently corrupt.  Do they make mistakes?   Of course.  They are human.  However, the corruption that is alleged in social media regarding law enforcement is overblown and truly unsupported by the evidence.

Because all the evidence developed regarding this case has been turned over to law enforcement, it has been decided to suspend this blog for now to allow officials to do their job.  This case was derailed from the very beginning because of the noise of outside voices and social media, and it is time to lower the volume and let the professionals do their jobs undisturbed by the noise.

To all who knew something and came forward, thank you.  Your courage and willingness to step up will lead to the closing of this case.
